How are you all doing this year?
We had our last autocross yesterday for the Summer Series. I ran mostly in 2nd heat (around 11am-1pm). I've had about 10-12 competitors per class and the only two competitors giving me a run for my money was a 1996 or 1997 Nissan 200SX SER, and a 1986 Civic Si.
I placed 1st in my region for this year By a lot too. Took 9 1st places, 2nd places for a total of 108 points for the year.
I have this huge smile on my face this year because for the past 5 years I"ve only taken 2nd or 3rd place
Can't wait til next year when I do some National Tours.

This has been a really off year for me. I spent a lot of money this summer, and to cover the bills that meant a lot of working, ie, not much time to race. Hopefully I can get in on some events as the season winds down at the beginning of the winter.

Hey CivicSiRacer,
You're running in STS correct? I just started auto-x last summer but in our region 1st place in STS is being duked out between a VW GTI and a very fast Sentra. My first event I placed midpack but I've been mostly inconsistent from there. Time to do some auto-x schools...

I raced my car from one side of the garage to the other. Took me about 15 minutes to take it off its jackstands, push it back, move some stuff, put it on the other side, and jack it up. I placed first, but I was the only entrant.

Season is still going but since I missed the first 5 events and only attended one so far and missed the next 4, I'm not in the running for anything
but i'm autoxing for fun. until I get on the track. i'll actually wait until I get a cheaper car for the track but will attend one in my current vehicle.

i've been taking 1st pretty consistently in SM, although i dont keep up with points. there aren't many people running SM in these parts, and those that do aren't people that race a lot. however i do love playing with those 944 turbo's and vw's. the biggest competitor i have is my brother who codrives my car!

it's my D in a B
I got a 3rd place in H-stock early this summer, but no dice since then.
I have my ground controls now, and soon to have brake swap, so I'm out of H-stock
The last event this summer is sep 28, and I'm thinking of leaving my street tires on and doing an STS (my roommate wants to see how his saab will fair against my car - I already know he'll kick my ass) It will be my first experience in STS, and I'll lose badly (there are some really good drivers in that class) but its still kinda exciting.
