Default 4-2-1 or 4-1 Header for a GSR

I'm looking for a new header for my GSR and am thinking a DC Sports Ceramic.

Looks like the best price I can find is $255 shipped.

Question. What would work better 4-2-1 or 4-1.

The car only has an SRI and this will be the last mod. Possibly a high flow Cat and exhaust in the future but thats it. Thanks!

search next time. 4-1 is generally more midrange-high end power whereas 4-2-1 is low to midrange.

i got a 4-2-1 comptech stainless stell, and its good for the street, unless u are planning to run in the high rpms and do a lot of mods then go for a 4 to 1. (also have comptech ice box, skunk2 cams, skunk2 intake, apexi exhaust)

You'd benefit from a 4-1, considering your intake, intake manifold, cams, and exhaust are geared for high rpm power.

4-1 is better suited, however you may run into ground clearance problems when you approach low objects on the road you normally run over. Be more careful.

depends on how low you are really. if you're dropped too low you'll find yourself coming in nearly sideways to clear most speedbumps. :reechy:

concerning your header? i'm sitting 3' off the ground on 16' rims, my header has never scraped, (if your concerned with the header). if anything, your cat will scrape first.
