Default 5th gen owners with 18's HELP

I'm wanting to move up from my current 17's to 18's but am worried about rubbing. What tire size is best? I am currently using Tein H-tech springs with about a 1" drop all way around. I've seen people using two sizes pretty much on all applications, these being 215/35/18 and 225/40/18. Would either of these work with my current spring rating and avoid rubbing, or would I need to go back to my stock setup? If so, which tire would I need to avoid any rubbing? Any help is appreciated.
