Default Got me a new steering wheel, red coupe, black sedan *PICS*

Hey fellas,
I swapped out my stock steering wheel for an Acura TL-S wheel. It's leather, half is perforated, beats the hell out of my old soft plastic/rubbery LX one. Feels great too.

I kinda went for the two tone look with the black wheel, just to make it look a little different than all gray. (Plus I got the black one cheap ).I think it turned out okay - there's enough black in the interior so it doesn't look too out of place.

Thanks to MrChad on this board for the wheel hookup and install knowledge.
Oh, and for those who want, I have some step-by step pics.

That looks pretty sweet. How much did it run you and would it fit a 5th gen Accord?

For us 5th geners, what about taking a steering wheel of like a 95 or 96 TL?

Schmiddy will have a step by step coming soon

The wheel will fit the Gen5 and the Prelude, however! You will need to order the Honda/Acura 98+ Acc/TL/CL airbag and a set of cruise control switches.

You can get the wheel from your dealer when they swap out for the optional wood grain wheel they will sell you the old leather one if no one wanted it.

The air bag from the Acc5/Lude won't fit the the gen 6 wheel but all the wires and switches air the same so it plugs right in. Check local wrecking yards to snag an Accord airbag cheaper.

Will the steering wheel of an Acural MDX fit on a 6th gen accord?

I ask because I don't think there is a size difference between steering wheels among the MDX and TL-S. I could be WAY wrong so anyone with working knowledge please let me know.

I'd hate to buy one and not be able to do anything with it.

Thanks,
Brian

Yes an MDX wheel will fit if my knowledge serves me correct its the same as the Odessey van which also uses an Accord style wheel. If the boss looks like the above picture you are golden. My buddy at the dealership lets me dig threw the pile and as far as I can tell they all are the same. (except for the RSX.)

Get the wheel and ask if you can bring it back if its in perfect shape. I'm 99.9% sure an MDX wheel will fit though.
