Check out this site. You think cars are expensive in the US. A fully loaded TSX in Europe runs 28,700 EUR That's 37,000 in good old US Dollar!!! More if you get the 2.2L Diesel option. Yikes!

Cars (imports even more) are more expensive in Europe. There is no doubt about that. There are many reasons for that but I used to live in Europe when I was considering spending again part of the year there I was going to import my car from the US (driving in Europe with any US licenseplate is considered way too cool there).. you just need to purchase their insurance.

because their cost quadruples from the trip overseas, plus inflation on such a highly demanded performance vehicle which is not in mass production, and not as easy to obtain as going to the corner dealer with a piece of newspaper that says "zero down and 199 a month" on it.
