You need to do a google search and learn how foreign currency works. You can't directly convert it like that.

Cars (imports even more) are more expensive in Europe. There is no doubt about that. There are many reasons for that but I used to live in Europe when I was considering spending again part of the year there I was going to import my car from the US (driving in Europe with any US licenseplate is considered way too cool there).. you just need to purchase their insurance.

plus dollars and euro are worth diff too. how come we dont see as many lamborghini or ferrari here like n the us? heh

because their cost quadruples from the trip overseas, plus inflation on such a highly demanded performance vehicle which is not in mass production, and not as easy to obtain as going to the corner dealer with a piece of newspaper that says "zero down and 199 a month" on it.

Wow, definetly not what I mean. You cannot directly convert foreign currency into USD and expect to get a sense of how much the product costs in USD. This example of the car illustrates our weak dollar and their strong euro more than anything. Cars are not $15000 more expensive in Europe. This is basic economics. They're more expensive, yes, but mainly due to the excessive taxes of the socialist economies.

yeah its just like comparing land estate in North Dakato and land estate in Southern California. values/inflation/economy is different.
