Tranny Flush on V6 98 Coupe

Tranny Flush on V6 98 Coupe
Just did a tranny flush on my 98 V6 Accord Coupe with 130,000. Shifting has been sliping a little out of first gear. I didn't use the Honda tranny fluid, should I redo it with the right fluid or leave it for the next change? Also, I added some Lucas Tranny fix to help with my tranny slipping. It helped a bit but the problem is still somewhat there. I'm thinking of adding a second bottle of Lucas to see what it will do since the bottle says you can use two for tougher tranny's. Any advice on this would be very appreciated.

Yeah. Your first mistake was to have the tranny flushed after so many miles. If you did it yourself, then it was dumb, if you got a shop to do it, they just wanted your money cuz most shops will tell you not to do it. You second mistake was not using honda TF, and your third mistake was using an additive. Go and buy enough Honda TF to do two drain and fills, I'm not sure how much much your tranny takes. Drain and fill, drive it around the block a few times, and drain and fill again. The transmission basically is on its way to the grave. If it's started slipping it's just a matter of time now. Start saving up some money for a new tranny.

Very Sorry, It wasn't a flush
I didn't do a flush, sorry for the confusion, totally my fault, just replaced the tranny fluid and added the lucas additive. No clean/flush was involved. What should I do, replace with Honda and not use an additive?

The stuff I used
My manual said use Dextron-3 and so I did. Should I switch so Honda stuff ASAP. Also, since my tranny slips a little bit, will it be okay to use the Lucas Additive with the Honda transmission fluid if I'm still having problems??

Getting ATF-Z1
Okay, I'm going to the dealership to get a case of the ATF-Z1. I did the flush with Dextron-3 about a week ago so hopefuilly I didn't mess anything up too bad.

DEXTRON 3 WILL KILL THE TRANNY. GET IT OUT QUICK. Haynes tells you to use honda atf, or dextron 2. I've seen Dextron 3 cause damage to a honda tranny, and kill a ford tranny. Stick with honda atfz1.

Thanks for all the advice, but......
First off thanks to everyone who posted in here, I bought a case of the honda stuff today, so I'm gonna flush the old stuff out completely tommorow. Just wanted to know what peoples thoughts were on adding the Lucas additive after I change my Tranny fluid. And how much bad versus good can it do??
