Default 98 EXV6 Fuel Sending Unit

For those who have had the common problem with the fuel tank not reading correctly between 1/2 and full, how much $ is the faulty part? Doesn't seem like that big of a deal to me, just a nuisance.

Looking from the TSB, the part is the "Fuel Gauge Sending Unit", P/N 17630-S84-A01

About a week ago when I read this TSB, ever since then i've noticed my gauge is not going all the way up to full like it used to just a month ago... sometimes it will sneak up to F with up to like 30-40 miles on it, the first half goes very quick(usually ~150ish for me), then the next 1/8 I get like over 50 miles on.

The TSB describes sulfer in fuel affecting the unit. Would this differ with the additives put in gas in the winter, or certain brands of gas? Somehow I doubt it does.

Thanks in advance!
