Default Finally got a civic..so happy

Well after much time and searching i finally got a new car. its a 1992 Civic DX hatch. My dad found it for me for 500 bucks. engine is ok but as for the tranny it grinds 2nd and 3rd. For exterior the windshield is cracked on the passenger side, and for the interior both pass and driver seats are ripped and have burn holes. Other than that theres nuttin wrong wit it. No honda rust at all b/c the lady kept it garaged. Hopefully i can get some pics posted sometime this week since its sitting at my dads shop. As for money to spend on it my parents took out a loan for me for 5000$. First out is the motor and im dropping in a b18b1. then im undecided about suspension and exhaust setup. car should be done by sometime during the summer but ill keep u guys posted.

not bad, buy a car for 500, and now you have 4500 bucks or so to play with. You plan on turboing the b18b or doing an LS/VTEC set up?

nice going on the hatch, ill believe it when i see pics. as for the b18b, turbo that biatch with the 4.5K left. Hell of a lot faster than any n/a setup youll ever spend with that kind of money. then again...reliability is another story

So, your mommy and daddy bought you a Civic for $500 and are giving you $4500 to dick around with? :eh:

A loan, no less, for him to spend on his civic needlessly, and then have to probably one day repay
