Default My Rim is Looken ugly

I went and washed my car today sence it was nice out. as i finished up i walked by the scrub brush and saw some clear looking film on it. for some reason i thought to look at my rims and on my front driver side "ADR Flite 4" rim it looks as if...... Clear coat is coimg off on the lip. i started flicking it and more just came off . is there anything i can do to stop this? or some kinda shop i can go to...... or could i just razor around the lip to get whats showing off??

try to save it from doing it anymore, use the razor blade like you said & cut just beyond that point of peeling & then use a heat gun on it. Hopfully that works.. don't melt your wheel with the heat gun!!

Nice lookin wheels tho.. i like 'em

good luck

Thanks. i've had them for about almost 2 years, but i've only driven on them for 8 months snow, rain, and all. the heat gun idea sounds pretty good but i dont have one........... ya think a hair dryer would work??

if you have the money there are shops that can finish your wheels and paint them other colors if you want.

Hair dryer won't produce the kind of heat your looking for. I know at our local Harbor Freight Tool store they are only 17 bucks.
