clear thing on one side, black thing on the other, together they form an empty enclosed space...anyone know what they are there for? Cause I'm thinkin maybe they're gonna be there to hide my crossovers

Still here... sorta...
The black thing is a vent for the rear so that air will flow into your car. If there wasn't a place for it to vent to in the back then air wouldn't move into your car when you have the vent open. h:
The plastic on the door panels is to keep water out of your car because water can get inside your door when it rains or when you wash your car and you don't want that on the back side of your door panel. h:

thats a vent?... i dont see any ducts leading to it. looks like when the panel and door is together...it forms an enclosed space. :eh:
my best guess is something like a place for door actuators, relays, small crossovers...or something for like car alarms or power doors that didnt come as an option for that car. ...or maybe its just a safety issue to keep the panel from caving into the door? ....lowjack?? :dunno:
