I ran one up to 175k before I sold it ('87 D15A3... very different then the 88+ D's, but every bit as reliable.)

Wasted a 92 CX motor at 105k. Bad compression, needed head work, burned more oil than gas.
I've got 15k total on my DX motor now
New lease on life.

292,000 original. Only adjusted the valves once. Burns NO oil. Change the oil every 3,000 with Walmart oil and STP filter- nothing special.
I don't rev this motor- I will be breaking 300,000 in 8 weeks!

143,000 burns a small amount of oil. But runs like a dream.
