Default Look Here Help Me!! Engine Turning Over!!

hi everyone, recently my engine light came on. i dont know what happend, but ever since that happend, my car had trouble turning on (like it chugs for 3-5 seconds and then turns on)

i currently own a 1998 accord coupe v6

there are a few things i looked at:
air filter
gas cap
spark plugs
ignition switch(changed today)

i was thinking about another solution to the problem, but i am not sure if this is the way to correct my engine starting problem

"The main relay contains 2 individual relays. One relay is energized whenever the ignition is on. It supplies battery voltage to the ECU (computer) to power the injectors and also supplies power to the second relay. The second relay supplies power to the fuel pump. The second relay is energized for 2 seconds when the ignition switch is initially turned on and when the engine is running."

the thing is, when i leave my key on the "ON" position and i wait 2 seconds i can turn on my car fine. but if i quickly turn on the car without waiting for the main relay to supply power to the second relay, the car starts chugging and has trouble starting.

i was thinking if i had to change the fuel filter? or something else.i dont think its the EGR port clogging though, because my car has only 34K miles on it.

someone help. i'll love you to death if u do

http://www.hondainfo.com/troubleshooting.html

If engine light comes on -> Check your O2 (oxygen) sensor..

I hope this helps..

so it cant be the ignition switch. im not sure if its the fuse though.

what about faulty wiring, could that be it?
