Default ????? Which Evap Purge Solenoid for Swap ??????

I have a 1995 Civic Coupe with a 1996 ITR Swap and using a JDM P73 ECU with harness.
Do I get one for OBDI or OBDII?

I thinking either 95 GSR or a 97 Type-R?

I did a search and someone recommended a OBDI such as a 95 GSR because the JDM P73 is OBDII but still runs as OBDI, it this right?

Any help or advice is greatly appeciated.

I have a '95 DX civic with a '97 GSR motor (OBD1 P72) and no evap. I had it hooked up forever and was talking to my tuner one day who said 'why do you still have that?'. I said 'cause I need it'. He said, 'no, you don't' and disconnected it... no change to the performance. Hope that gives you some info.

Thanks westcoast for the advice, but I need it to get my car BAR in California.

I think the OBDI Evap sounds right?

What does BAR have to do with it? If you have an OBD1 ECU, it doesn't look for the sensor so your engine does not need it (from my experience with my B18C1 and P72).

In California, I cannot pass the visual without it, the REF will require it to be there.
