Stickers that add horsepower!!!
I was at the mall today when this guy rolls up in a dodge viper. I was like WOW!!!! Anyway I talk to him about his car and tell him I want to mod my car. You know get some nawz intake and exhaust. Then he tells me that theres some stickers that if you put them in the right place add horsepoewr. I though he was just pulling my leg but then he told me that thers some chemicals in the adhesive that do this...
Does anyone know about this?
I drive a 98 civic lx with a tuned automatic transmission.

Yes they are real, there are different kinds. I mean haven't you seen those race cars with stickers, they are putting a lot of power down with those stickers.
Hood - you need a large Powered By Honda one that covers the hood. What this does is actually makes the hood porous and makes your engine breathe easier.
Windshield - you need a large one that covers half the windshield. Makes the windshield more aerodynamic and reduces drag which in turn gives you more hp.
Finally, the Type R sticker which is very common. Be careful with this one as its not legal yet. I would recommend getting the VTEC sticker instead as that is legal in all states.

Thanks axe. I looked on ebay but I really couldn't find any of those stickers. I saw a type-r sticker but I wasn't sure if it was the real thing or not.

Since you own a Civic LX with a tuned automatic transmission
I'd seriously recommend the DOHC VTEC sticker and of course the classic red and blue "Si" sticker

I seriously saw a Mercury Cougar (previous bodystyle before the 99-02) and it had a VTEC sticker above the V8 logo. At the time I was a Honda newb and I asked my racer buddy and he was like "No.. no.. VTEC is a Honda exclusive."

Actually. Why stop with just Si? You do have the tuned transmission right??? Get the SiR-T sticker, Si = Sport injection, R = racing, T = tuned transmission
