Default most successful car setup?

hello everyone im kinda new to the site(not new as in i dont know anything about cars or FI)

whats everyones most successful setup?

Im trying to acheive a decent goal of a little over 300 hp/tq and i just wanted to get a little feedback from guys who know what theyre doing

Im going to use an hf for starters and swap in a jdm b18b(from hmotors), and change out the suspension, brakes, etc.

i was looking into which turbo i should use and thats where i kinda got stuck.

im thinking about using a precision SC-61 but its kinda big and probably really expensive and will lag alot.

then i looked at the garrett t4/t3, that one is smaller but only has a max of 300 hp

would it be too much overkill to use the sc-61 for just 300 hp/tq or or should i go cheaper and use the t4/t3

i dont care if you flame me for being new id just really appreciate your feedback

For 300whp, I would go with the SC-34, less lag then the SC-61, but will easily reach your goals. They are around $600-700 still and produce great numbers.

But you will need some bottom end work to make 300whp reliably, if you were talking about 300chp, then It can be done on the b18b shortblock, but not sure how long it'd last
