HID Problem Solved, I'm Now Elite
h:
well, some of you guys were partially right about my problem.
refer to https://www.honda-acura.net/forums/s...threadid=16813
for my problem
anyways, the problem is the polar thingymajig. But not from the ballast that some people were mentioning. I was looking at it, and saw no way to switch them. I was almost tempted to cut the plugs and switch them.
But then, i noticed the adapter that came with my aftermarket headlamps. I see the red and black wires. I see the connection to my stock harness, and see the red and black wires. But wait, they dont line up to each other. They cross at the connection. I cant flip then around, cuz they got special clips and ****. Well, i then, was able to take out the prong or whatever you call them, and switch the wires around. Tested the first side. It works. :bigthumb:
Then did it to the other side, and now, i am elite. that is all. h:
I would like to thank to those that helped.

? didn't i say it was a polarity thing? guess i didn't spell it out that the ballast needs to RECEIVE the current at the right polarity in order to work. don't ever recall saying the polarity was switched AFTER passing through the ballast.

check all your wires from the very start. Follow the red, and make sure, after every connection, it stays red, and doesnt switch to black

oh yea, here are some pics. I want it to get foggy so i can see how bad the glare is. h: It actually, isnt as bad as i thought it would be. VERY bright. I think i might even raise the beam up just a tad, bc it's not lighting as far down the road as i would like.

gawd i hate it when this problem happens! it's like honda builds some cars backwords. i swear i build all my relays the same way and they all work on my car. then when i send it out to some customers they have to reverse it, usually takes them hours to find out though. elite, that was the problem i had w/ your car too!
