Great minds think alike. I dont like the look of really high belt lines, they remind me too much of the new Toyota.

like 02rsxtypes said before... I'm also not really fond of the high belt line..

In my opinion it makes the area between the c-pillar and trunk look too pudgy/porky. And with skinny tires and small rims, the fat rear is accuentated even more.

Very reminscent of the 02 camry rear heaviness albeit the camry being a more exaggerated porky rear end.

The interior will haveto be revamped if it's suppoed to compete with the 3's and is's. They cant expect to pull in great many sales with a '03 honda interior and a 4 cylinder.

I guess it's going to be a wait and see game... this is supposed to come out next fall? Correct me if I am wrong.

I've actually heard next spring. I was hoping to see an Accord-ish interior with revisions that set it apart, but if it stays this way it'll eat into accord sales (unless it was RWD, that is) and salesman for BMW/Lexus/Benz will say "Oh, it's just a Honda Accord" like those assholes do now with the TL/CL...only they'll be right.

I think Honda is more taking the VW/Audi strategy to compete with BMW. There is SO much similarities. Both the Accord and Passat are stretched from their luxury nameplate siblings. The Accord and Passat carries a rounder theme then the angular styling of the TSX and A4. The Passat and A4 carries near identical interior like the Accord and TSX. The TSX and A4 both have same amount of top end power in the 4 cylinder motor (or at least expected in the TSX) of ~180hp. VW uses light turbo while Honda uses i-VTEC to achieve this. Just my observation.

Compare 2001 models of VW's Passat/A4:

Also, the Accord and TSX has a much nicer interior than that on the IS300.
