Default Jdm B18C vs rebuild

Hope All is well with everyone.... I have a few questions..... I have a 98 Gsr hatch w 220K..... No big problems with motor...Only mods I have aem intake, Ws2 cat back & exedy stage 1 clutch.... IN THE FUTURE WHICH WOULD BE CHEAPER/BETTER... a JDM B18C Gsr/SiR-G long block since my tranny is good or rebuild my motor & throw in some Itr pistons & call it a day....Also I want to make sure it's from a 98 Jdm Sir-G right or if I find one from a 97 is that ok considering mine a 98 Gsr & I'm in Md if that helps,,,, Also won't have money for tune...I'd love to do a semi/mild rebuild in future but no money for that......
Thanks

Any suggestion on rebuilding my motor or swap a b18c Sir long block.. It does need to be a 98 spec correct? What parts from my 98 gsr motor needs to be swapped over to the Sir-G if i go that route.. Also, I almost forgot if its a B18c I need the ecu also for knock sensor I believe
Thanks
Any input will be appreciated
