Installing JDM Type R Cluster into 95 LS
I want to buy the JDM Type R gauge cluster for my 95 LS. Does it matter if it came out of a 96 or 98 spec? Will all the wiring be the same. Like will it just be like swapping the a cluster. Thanks

Negative, Ghostrider.
Wiring changes will make this cluster swap [nearly] impossible.

you can always swap out the guages and carbon fiber outlay in the JDM unit, and put them in your stock unit.
I have just heard that the obd2 units will make wierd lights come on, and your fuel and temp needles will probobly start reading incorrectly.
but its not impossible, just a few more steps. good luck

behind the cluster there are like screws holding the guages in place. one by one, unscrew them. I think its like 2 or 3 for each guage. You need a skinny long phillips. and then its just the matter of swapping the guages (and carbon fiber piece if you want) onto your old unit.
