02 accord v6 b7xa trans swap - engine wont turn
My accord needed a new trans, put it in this past weekend. Now the whole powertrain will not turn. Keep in mind, it turned fine (by hand) to put the TC bolds in. No clue what has changed. Trying the starter make quite a racket, but the engine will not turn. not even by hand. Any ideas? I need this car to get to work and I have no idea how I botched this...All help is seriously appreciated.

I haven't done any work on automatic transmissions.
(Note: a quick google search for "honda accord v6 2002 automatic transmission problems" shows many issues with that transmission.)
General repair questions on your problem.
What did you replace?
(automatic transmission, torque converter, both?)
Where did you get the parts?
(any guarantee on the parts)
Did you torque the bolts to the correct factory spec?
(hopefully, using a click type torque wrench and info from the honda factory manual)
things it could be:
-automatic transmission not in Park or Neutral setting
-bad torque converter (stuck in "lockup mode")
-bad replacement transmission
if all else fails, call a mobile local mechanic.

Whoops. Chris, I seriously apprecitate your repsonse. To answer your questions, I replaced the entire trans, new TC as well. I didnt want to take any chances after doing all this labor. 3 year guarantee on parts, and yes, I used a torque wrench -it was freshly calibrated. I verified transmission was in Park, and not just because "P" was the stick placement - I verified on, or more realistically "in", the tranny itself.
In the end, I got desparate and it paid off. I removed all of the sprak plugs to make sure there was no compression holding back the starter, then cranked it for a few seconds and it turned over beautifully. put plugs back in it and it started right up. I'm not sure what happened, but with no compression in the cylinders it was able to "fix itself". I know if there had been a real problem of binding I could have messed it up bad but like I said, desparate.
In the end, I got desparate and it paid off.
