Default will water hurt a clutch or a flywheel?

I just put a Exedy Stage 1 and a Fidanza Aluminum Lightened Flywheel in my 95 LS. I was wondering will driving through water hurt the flywheel(warp it) or will it hurt my new clutch.
Thanks

don't take my word for it by any means,
but my best guess is that yes it could.
The material might be similar to brake pads which can get wet, but I just don't think they were ever meant to get wet.

I slow down in deeper water so It dosent splash but by the look of it water can get into the clutch area fairly easy.

How can it get in there? Did you leave the flywheel cover off, or the boot on the release fork? It shouldn't be able to get in there.

No all thats on. But there looks like theres a hole to put a screwdriver or such to hold the flywheel so you can take the crank pully off or something. Maybe im wrong.
Thanks though.
