what would it take for a n/a 1993 civic dx to beat a stock 1995 eclipse/talon n/t?

1995 Eagle Talon ESi
420A
16 valve, 2.0L, DOHC N/A
140hp@6000rpm
130tq@4800rpm

im guessin it would take a decent amount of cashflo and know how, but im just curious

no flamin plz

simple answer....... B series engine + Turbo!! or just the engine, but try tunning it, or doing some minor mods...

...well if thats all you want to do, is beat 140hp
just turbo the d15
OR
swap in a bseries vtec engine

Rip out your interior, a/c, power steering, and radio. Then take your exhaust off.

your mods? and is it a hatch or a coupe? you might beat him only if you have a hatch with some mods and hes bad at driving stick. other than that a b series will take it.

by bad, im runnin the ESi, and this lil **** with the dx is runnin his mouth

figured id just reinforce my facts before i shut him up

Lol...the n/t..DSM's...are slow..a DX with enough bolt-on's and weight reduction could hold it's on with one...

I own an n/t dsm... and I can vouch for their slowness. But a d15 isn't going to beat one with just bolt-ons.

Considering power to weight... I'd say the hatchback would need a Z6 swap, plus a couple extras and a little weight reduction. That's good for a mid to high 15 out of the hatch.
