vigor help

I just got a 92 vigor, 5spd, navy blue. its in alright shape, little rust, but im getting that fixed, and the rest is mostly little stuff like a new power antenna, center console and cruise control switch lights ( 8 bucks a piece or free from an accord at an auto wrecker)

a couple questions

my driver side heated seat doesnt heat up very much, whats the deal?

when i was trying to switch lights in the cruise control switch i broke the light and touched the metal part with the screw driver and the lights flickered and now my cruise doesnt work, it wont even light up on dash. and the fuse is not blown...

i also would like to know how the factory alarm and power locks work because the person i bought the car from screwed them up when he install his deck... the alarm red light beside the door lock doesnt flash anymore but yesterday i some how set off my alarm, and it took me 5 minutes to figure out how to shut it off. (embarrising at 2 in the morning)

when i turn my key a little bit to the right it sound slike its tryign to unlock all the doors but it just sounds like there locking and unloocking really fast and then i have to unlock driver side door only....

i know this was alot bu tyou guys know your stuff and i thoght you could help, thank you this is the best thing thats happened to me since i bought my vigor 3 weeks ago

My guess is that you fried the light for the cruise control. Have you actually tried to use cruise control even though it doesn't light up?

As for the alarm/electrial problem you are having......all I can say is good luck. The prior owner probably messed up some of the stock wiring and the only way to fix it right is back track..... Ask the prior owner what exactly did he do and then trace the problem.
