New best 1/4 mile time at NOPI in Ennis
I went the the NOPI finals in Ennis and ran a new best time. I have a 1993 Civic Si hatch weighing about 2500 lbs with me in it. Here's the time:
R/T: .664 (first time using a pro tree)
60': 1.817
330: 5.077
1/8: 7.685 MPH: 97.12
1000: 9.913
1/4: 11.757 MPH: 123.29
This was on 205/50 15 BFG drag radials, full interior (minus spare tire), and 93 octane pump gas. I drive this car everyday and have had it with this setup daily driven for over a year. Here's the set-up:
Engine
-1995 B18C1 motor bored to 83.5mm
-RS Machine sleeves
-Arias 83.5mm 9.5:1 thermal coated pistons with .866 wristpins
-Crower rods
-Balanced and micro polished crank
-ARP head studs
- Cometic 3mm head gasket
-Skunk2 titanium valve springs
-Skunk2 titanium retainers
-Rev stainless steel valves
Performance
-Skunk2 intake manifold
-Full-Race stainless steel equal length turbo manifold
-Full-Race stainless steel 3 inch down pipe with v-band
-Precision SC61 turbo with ceramic coated exhaust housing
-Custom stainless steel 3 inch exhaust dumped under the car with two 3 inch stainless steel Top Speed resonators
-38mm Tial waste gate
-Custom stainless steel waste gate dump tube
-XS Engineering 24x11x3 air to air intercooler
-Blitz blow-off valve
-GReddy oil catch can
-C&R aluminum radiator with slim fan
-MSD digital 6 ignition with external coil (has a 2-step rev limiter)
-ACT extreme pressure plate
-Competition Clutch 4-puck disc with sprung hub
-JDM GS-R transmission with factory limited slip differential
Engine and Fuel Management
-Hondata S200 with boost
-Precision 780cc injectors
-AEM fuel rail
-Walboro/BBK 255lph in tank fuel pump
For suspension I have Tein Type Flex and a camber kit all around. I'm making about 430 whp on high boost. I launch on 0.8 bar and hit the high boost (1.2 bar) as soon as I shift into 2nd gear.
