Default Accord - stereo unlock

I have fallen pry to the stereo "code" display. I have the code but punching in the numbers does not unlock the stereo. It is factory unit with CD player. What is the correct procedure once the battery has been reconnected.

Thanks.

wait a few min. the reconnect the battery. Enter the code using the preset number buttons... it should unlock...if not, time to make a trip to your dealer

u can always take it to a getto audio shop and they will take the chip/code out of the radio and u will never see that code again, i think this code bull shit is for children i dont know why ppl make stuff like this, it gets me angry when they make something that is supposed to protect something and has a stupid flaw, i like things done righ and one time. u would think honda would fix this problem yet, well not only honda, just like ms winblows by the way the dealer will try to charge u dont let him is a 5second job, the shop should charge $5-10
