The one that says BRAKE is for the brake light on the assend and it might be out. E brake, make sure the brake is down all the way as the light sensor is very sensitive.

:werd: I have the same issue on cold days with my '00 Accord Coupe. The E brake sensor is very sensitive and gets stuck easily. Usually when it warms up in the afternoon...it 'un-sticks'.

I just had this happen this morning, glad I saw this thread. so would draining(of course adding all new fluid) the fluid, and bleeding the lines stop this from happening on a regular basis?

http://www.honduh.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=6560
I started a thread on here before I saw the post on here. the general solution is its not big deal if your pads are fine.

skabone ----sounds like the problem your having is different than mine from reading that post you put on on honduh.

Its the E-Brake Light im referring to and hopefully the same for you.
It seems that when i start up the car in the morning and release the E-brake the light stays on. After a while ( car warms up ) light turns off.

Its not effecting my braking. Master cylinder is fine,
pads are fine. Just the light doesnt go off as soon as the lever is lowered.

I have some dirt and shit inside where the e-brake is.
Maybe I just need to vaccum it up, maybe the dirt is on the sensor or something.

I just find it odd that this is happening all of a sudden.

It cant be the pads because that light only turns on when the e-brake is up or down.
so im just assuming its a sensor thing.

that's what I was thinking. its sunny out now, I'll have to wait and see until after work to see if the light goes off.
