Brake light on Dash stays on when brake is off.
My Brake light on the dash ( illuminates when the E-Brake is active ) stays on even after I release the e-brake the light stays on.
What I have noticed is. If I start up the car ( from sitting over night )and release the lever the light stays on.
But if i leave the car on idling ( remote start ) when i lower the lever it will turn off.
Is there like a sensor in there or a pin that touchs something that might be loose?

This is a pretty common problem with Integra's. You might want to do a search in the Teg forum (several posts on it). More than likely it has to do with your brake fluid sensors (the floats at the top of the brake fluid have probably gotten stuck, or at least don't move freely causing the light to stay on at times).

Unplug the 2 wires coming from the brake fluid reservoir. If that fixes it, it's a stuck float switch. Or maybe the fluid actually is low...
Then check the little button switch at the handbrake lever. If it's bent maybe the lever isn't pressing on it when you release the brake.
Depending on what year, maybe there's a connection from that circuit to the ABS or the ECU.
You've got remote start. Is that wired into the handbrake switch???

ok...I left the e-brake off over night and there again the light stays on.
After a while ( after car warms up I guess ) the light turns off.
wtf is this light for? It only comes on when u lift or lower the e-brake.
e-brake off = light on
e-brake on = light on
but it eventually turns itself off.
once its off I could lower and raise the e-brake and the light turns off accordingly.
Dirty sensor?
