just put h22a1 in 97 accord
Hey fellas i'm new to the scene and would like to get some help. I just dropped a h22a1 off 94 lude to my 97 accord. I'm looking to do the simple mods such has intake, headers and exhaust. I'm having trouble decing which exhaust is right. I've asked some and they said the apexi cat back is a good one. Anyway, what is the significance the cat converter plays in the exhaust. If i were to purchase a cat back system off of ebay, would I need to purchase the hi flow cat converter or would I be set? These are links to the exhaust and converter I was looking at, please help me out, thanks for any information that is provided.

Uh, that exhaust isn't an Apexi, its an 'Apexi Style' just a warning... :P
I've read that guy's feedback and I noticed how some people were like "I thought it was really an Apexi!" (Because I had seen those and was wondering how someone could sell them so cheap)
Hope that helps!

i dont think you should mess with the cat in your exhuast system
just get a decent N1 or evo exhuast and bolt it to the stock cat and you'll be fine
unless it's your stock accord cat then try to find a used 5th gen VTEC cat and it should bolt right up

So when I buy my exhaust system, I should also get a cat from same year h22 prelude so it will replace my accord cat? Or can I just buy the exhaust system and bolt it on my accord cat. Thanks.
