I have a 1996 Accord LX, where is the best place on the internet to buy a cold air intake valve. And is it hard to install on my own.

probably, they have generic ones but i would stick to AEM's bypass valve for 45...off ebay of course

stick wit aem since its carb approved, thus u can pass smog and cant get a fix-it ticket. (still not sure if you are talking about intakes or bypass valves FOR the intake.)

gotta cut the CAI into 2 and put the valve in between the pipes... i have one for sale if u want... 2.5" diameter

what is the difference between intake and bypass valve. Pretty new to all this stuff. Also looking at websites and they have listed cold air induction and short ram intake. What is the difference? Just really want to increase gas mileage and horsepower
