My perfornace guy put in some Tokico HPs, some Progress springs 2.3", and a Progress rear sway bar. The thing is, when I go over a bump they make a clanking ca-chunk type noise. I had Intracs before and they didn't make a sound. The Progress springs are progressive instead of linear like the Intracs so a lot of the coils do rest on each other.

The guy said ALL accords will make this "Sping slap" sound (in the rear) and that is the price I have to pay for a super nice ride (which it is).

I'm under the belief that suspension should NEVER make noise, that's what it is for; to isolate the passengers from the bumps.

So, can anyone give me some advice?

yep, sounds just like mine. i have the eibach prokit which isn't nearly a 2.3 inch drop but never-the-less i have the same clunking noises you describe from the rear. i read somewhere that wrapping a hose around the bottom coils would help with the noise but i have yet to do this. i just learned to live with it.
