Default Problem with code 22 in LS/VTEC

I've got strange problem of lighting check engine light when I switch to 5th gear and revs reach VTEC engagement point. I've got this point at 5.200.
I checked ECU error code and it's code 22. The strange thing is that VTEC works great on every other lower gears and problem appears only on 5th gear, so I don't know how to identify the source of this problem.

Mayby somebody has an idea? I will appreciate any help.

Oil starvation at high RPMS, what brand oil filter are you using, I've been seeing a trend where an oil filter with a spring/bypass alleviates this problem.

Also check that you don't have too much/ too little oil.

I will check it, because as a matter of fact I have never cared about band of oil filter and was using some "no-name" type.

Is there any specific oil filter You would recommend?

BTW: is it possible that my problem is caused by some kind of corruption in fuel map uploaded into ECU?

This truly sounds like an oil pressure/sending problem. Not a fuel map problem.
