Default Has anybody got his wheels painted and regretted?

I apologize if this type of question doesn't belong to "tech" category...

I was wondering if anyone has got his wheels painted and regretted afterwards... like if you got chips so easily and such...
i've been looking into getting mine powdercoated, but it seems to take slightly too long and such...

so i'm just looking into having mine painted....... any inputs?

THANK YOU,
KS

Have them powdercoated, its only like $20/ea.

But I've seen a lot of nice painted wheels.

You could probably find something in the phone book, but nothing off my head.

Chroming is damn expensive, esp. to do right. It's a three step process, once the part is cleaned and stripped it must be copper plated, then nickel plated, then finally chrome plated.

The last qoute I got was $125 for just a few paintball gun parts. It's not cheap.
