Shaving
4th gen accord, and I hate the bumpers on the doors. Gonna get rid of em when i put my kit on and start doing all my body work. I figure the best way to do that is tac-weld some metal plates into the grood, then fill the rest in with bondo. The groove will be too deep for just bondo I'd imagine.
Ideas?

Handles are going too, but what i'm talking about is the black bumpers that prevent ur door or someone else's door from getting dinged up. Once you take those out, there's about a 1/2inch deep groove that needs 2 be filled and brought up to the level of the rest of the door. Problem is, I don't think bondo or fiberglass will fill all that properly, that's alot of space.

ya only thing i ain't messin' with is the gas tank nozzle. That's staying. I'd disagree on the shaved accord thing, I think they look great. I'm definitely going for different with this car. I can't stand cookie cutter rice cars.

I have heard of the fiberglass resin thing before, im not sure where i was reading it at though.
if you dont like cookie cutter rice than maybe you shoud go with a less popular rice, take off the side molding and leave the gap. because either way its gonna be considered rice, i have a 4th gen, the molding looks great
