Default Type S tranny into a Av6 accord 98

You guys always have the right answers, so heres something new. My cousin's tranny has the simtums that ahows its about to go. I was wondering if he could just drop a Acura Type S tranny in. Is their any complications in doing this, or does he just drop it right it. It's a automatic transmission.

Sure you can do anything with enough money and desire. Probably wiser to buy a used TL-S though.

for 4-cyl.. you would have to redo all the brake lines and a lot of relocating since most components on 4-cyl are on the opposite end of a 6cyl.

TL-S trannies are no better than the Accord trannies. Mine went out after 42k, and was just replaced. The TL-S was soon replaced with a 2003 540i soon after as well. Honda is doing a bad job handling the tranny issue. Recall em all, not just the MDX, Odyssey's and Pilots.

My dad's CLS tranny was recalled...dealer poped in a new one with no problem. This was last year I believe.
