Default 96 EX Sedan stock faster than my 98 EX Coupe with mods

*DISCLAIMER: This was staged on a PRIVATE stretch (welcome to Arkansas landowners) that I have legal permission (from my father) to use. There is a ZERO (literally) chance of innocent people getting involved.*

Him: Stock 96 EX Sedan, AT.

Me: 98 EX Coupe, AT. AEM CAI, DC Header, Helix, NGK Iridium Plugs, NGK Wires

From a stop, unless I brake torque the hell out of it, he gets 2 bumpers on me.

In top end, he was pulling away around 110-115.

What's with that?!?

I have a really stupid question. . . Is it possible to install the Helix (TB spacer) backwards. Mine doesn't make the simulated turbo noise everyone elses does, and I'm thinking it's restricting power maybe?

it may be 11lbs lighter but with all his audio and other crap it weighs down the car...plus his engines mods don't really make up for it either

What do you think a box with two tens in it weighs? Maybe 100lbs?
