Default more power for 1999 accord 1.8 vtec

how can i increase power of a 1999 accord 1.8 vtec (im from the UK) without changing the internals? how much extra hp can the stock engine handle? i prefer a turbo but which one? nothing too expensive? also what is the engine code for this engine?
will either of these turbo's fit?

You should be able to find the code on the engine block.
But from my buds in the UK I believe your engine is an F18 just like the rest of us OE Accord owners, even in the UK the Accord uses an F-series most of the time.

There is a chap on her called Steve, he is from scotland and has a 96 with the 1.8 as well, his is a non-Vtec. He claims some headwork free'd up some power for him.

Finding a turbo kit for your car is going to be tuff. THe most inportant key is the bolt pattern of the manifold on the head. You may be able to cut and fit a stock USmarket F-series kit for your car from Fmax or Drag if the manifold bolt pattern is the same. But you likely will need to custom fit the tubing and down pipe for the kit to fit.

Europe had a 2.0i Vtec in the 6th gen Coupe looked identical to the USDM car but had a smaller displacement, made a tad less power. This is were everyone get E-code headlights from. Plus they had side marker lights on the front fender and headlight washers. I wish it was easier to import this kinda stuff, it woudl bolt on to USDM 6th gens for the most part.

The Type-V 5-door European Saloon had 2.3i, F23's in them as well if I recall. Luxury model.

The Type-R saloon of course, had the hand built H22.
