there should be two philips screws holding the rotor to the hub. you may need to use an impact driver to remove those. if you get those out and it still doesnt want to come off, tap lightly on the backside of the rotor with a hammer.

This should be all you need, and a basic impact driver is a fairly cheap tool

i think you are mistaken. IMPACT DRIVER SCREWS ARE ON THE REAR ROTORS.the front have a different style, they are bolted to the outer axle hub or bearing cap flange.this flange is held to the rotor with 4 14mm bolts.i have to remove the flange first,it is in front of the rotor.i have never seen this setup before!this is for a 94 EX

they're thinkin of a rotor-over-hub design... the 94 accord has a hub-over-rotor design. For this you need to do quite a bit more to get the rotors off. Remove the ABS wire if your car has ABS, unplug it in the engine bay and pop the grommet out of the fender well. Remove the axle nut, but leave the rotor bolts in. Remove the tie rod end from the steering knuckle assembly. Remove the Caliper and Caliper bracket. Remove the upper ball joint and lower ball joint. The whole steering knuckle can come off the car now. Lay it up-side-down and you'll see 4 funky lookin bolts that need to come out, you can use a standard socket in most cases, or you can go out and purchase the socket to match. With the 4 bolts out you can carefully (with a block of wood) pound the wheel bearing/hub assembly out of the knuckle from the inside-out. Once the bearing assembly is free, you'll see that you can then unbolt the rotor and put your new ones on. Everything is the reverse for the instalation. Be sure to re-install all nuts and cotter pins.

It does take a while, so give your self the whole day to change the front rotors.

I do all my own work, dont trust anyone these days. So I can pretty much tell you how to tear the entire car apart... as well as 3rd gens and 4th gens.

Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead... but I have the parts I need to do a rotor over hub conversion. My question is what is the best way to get the ball joints off? I have heard a pickle fork can bust the rubber boot. I don't want to break them ... so what would you guys suggest? ... Also once I put everything back on how do I put the ball joints back together?
