Want that JDM orange glow from your gauges?

I found today that AutoZone is carrying the right bulbs for this now if you have an EX cluster since the EX cluster uses mainly the larger bulbs.

I have attached an image of the bulbs you need to get. I'll probably put up an image later of how they look.

I was pulling my hair out trying to find these. I hope this helps someone.

They were like $2.29 for a pack of 2. Too bad JDM gauges don't read MPH.

I seriously considered just getting the JDM cluster not too long ago, but then I got that '92 Canadian Civic that I gave to my brother and I couldn't stand driving in KPH (even with the MPH below). I then set out on my quest to find these bulbs.

I'll try to take some pics of the cluster in action tonight.

If you take your cluster out, you'll see on the back where there are brown things sticking out. Twist them and they will pop out, these are your bulbs. Then simple take the blue/white bulb out of casing and put orange in. Reverse process. HIH

but in my Ex gauge it takes one 194 bulb and 4-5 74 sized bulbs. Is the size 24 you're showing equivilent to 74's?

Yes, the 74s work in teh 24 slots. The bulb is just a bit bigger, but the plugin is the same size.

I'm still looking for an amber 194 so that the DX/LX guys could have the same effect.

194 ambers r all over the place, i had em in my clear sidemarkers on my old ej coupe. when i had a gsr cluster, i replace the stock clear 194s for amber 194s and it gave it a amber look. very nice.

I just took some pics and uploaded them to the first post.

I think they look awesome! You can see the comparison as well. My climate control is authentic JDM with JDM lighting. The cluster uses the bulbs described and they look identical! Yesssss!

daaaamn. those came out good as hell Josh. Did you do your climate control too?!

-quick question. When i did this to my civic. it seem as though the small end of the bulb was a little too big for the socket. Did you run into this problem or was it all easy fit?

oh yea, dont forget to do your clock (/me if you got a JDM one)

The climate control uses 2 194 bulbs (the smaller ones). I haven't found these in amber at my local auto store yet.

More cluster info:
5th gen DX/LX: 3 24/74 bulbs & 4 194 bulbs
5th gen EX/Si: 6 24/74 bulbs & 1 194 bulb

are you talking the climate control takes 194's on EG's or on some other gen?

And yes jdm ownz, because after a couple weeks you don't even think about the speed its just branded in your head like everything else. And its very fun to take people on their first ride and you get to like a hundred Kph and they all freak out and are like holy crap your car is fast.... then you say... yup.. lol

Yes, on the EGs.

See, but when you have a fast car for real, you don't have to pretend that it's fast.
