My Timeslip
Hey went to the track today. This was my first time ever, so I didn`t really do so well. I ran a 15.450 at 92.98. I got there pretty late so i only had time for two runs. I`m going back saturday and hopefully I can pull out some 14's. My biggest problem is launching. I tried dumping the clutch that definately didn`t work out, all I did was spin through all three gears. Then I tried slipping the clutch and that worked a little better. I hope to get the hang of it soon. I guess practice makes perfect right.

Thanks, yeah I definatley need to learn some clutch work. The track is so much different from the streets. I was so used to just dropping the clutch at 3 grand on the streets. At the track you loose traction so much easier. I`ll learn though.

On my usual strip, I can take off at 3000 without much spin in the Ion and I can wind it up to redline and dump it in the Bug.
