I really like the pics of the new RL. It will certainly be added to my want list.

Anyone see a hint of the Canadian Acura EL in the fornt of the RL?

All around, I really like the car.

The only exterior flaw (to me) are the wheels. They just look a little big to me.

Production model should/will come equipped with 17's.

I don't know...that caliper looks pretty close to the rim unless they plan to downsize the brakes as well.

I think it's great. A big improvement over the current model, a technical and engineering powerhouse to boot. Very impressive, coherent design that will age well. I wouldn't change much, if anything. I eagerly await it's arrival. h:

I'd say it's a reasonable assumption that the brakes will be more reasonably sized to fit in production-spec wheels. I think I read somewhere that it's going to come with 245/45-18 tires on 18" wheels, but I'm not sure.

As for the appearance of the thing, I think for whatever reason the Acura press photos make it look even more bland than it really is. These pics from the NY auto show make it look a bit more expensive.

In that last one you can see an almost mini-Bangle effect to the tail lamps and trunk lid.

And it still needs a single-bar grille.

fortunately it only looks that way, and the trunk lid doesn't bulge over the sides of the car.

in this pic i can see a resemblance to the current RL, which i think is a nice touch.
