They were just mounted today and at full lock they rub. They are 205/50/15 on GSR 15x6 wheels. I'm not really that low. I'm running koni yellows with neuspeed sports, with the yellows on the low perches. I guess I have two options, live with the rubbing at full lock or I can raise the car a perch on the shocks. I'd rather not do the latter cause I'd have to basically unassemble each corner. Any suggestions?

Edit: Oh yeah, the car is a 94 Civic coupe.

Where is the rubbing? on the suspension? inner splash pan? or fender?

Azenis, in general, run a little bigger than their stated size.

I found it out. There is a lump in the liner that is rubbing near full lock. I may just cut it out for now. I might still raise the car cause I don't really like it where it sits. Now I have another question. My yellows have three perch spots in the front and only two in the back. If I do raise the car, I should go up one perch all around, right? That should just give me the drop of the springs without the additional drop of the shocks, correct?

Got mine in January 2002. Done two track days (4 hours of track time), 18-20 autocrosses, 30 laps around the Carlisle mini road course, and 8000 street miles on them and I got tons of tread left. I'm figuring about 20-25K miles from them just regular street driving.

Also realize I have 1.5 negative camber front and 2.2 rear, 0 toe all around, dropped 2" and the tires are on 15x7" wheels.

That depends on how the spacing is setup on the shocks. If you don't like how low it is, raise it up and take a look and adjust from there. If you just don' t like the rubbing, leave it alone and the plastic will form itself or use a heat gun to form the plastic out of the way, or chop it out.

The Azenis are a wide tire..but more stick is better. In the 205/50/15 size..the Azenis have about a 3/4" per tire wider contact patch than the Kumho Ecsta Supras do...and mixed with a very sticky rubber compund for a non R-Compund tire, means good traction on the course and great traction for daily driving. I saw the Azenis in action this past weekend..great tire for the money.

yeah i figured it was my camber.

but 20-25k seems real good for those tires. they are quite sticky.

i wonder how much more sticky the a032r's from yokohama are from the azeneis. and those things last for like 10,000 miles at the most
