What pressure should I run a pair of BF T/A 205/50/15 DR's for drag racing?

The best way to set tire pressure IMHO is to use a pyrrometer(Measure surface temps) do a few hard acceleration runs and measure the temp across the tire before and after each run. You want even temp across the tire. You can also do a trial and error thng and see what pressure hooked up best, it will vary with different weight vehicles

I started mine at 16psi and found that it varys each time I go to the track

Ah, I see... cause if it's hotter around the edges it's too low and if it's hotter in the center it's too much. h:

from the research i have done, most people recommend 18psi-22psi, that what has worked best for the majority. I too just barely bought some BFG DR's. I just got them mounted today on my extra set of ITR wheels, i'll have to test them out soon :-)

just asking because im interested in geting a set.

im running street tires at the moment, set at 21psi, and i spin all of 1st and most of 2nd.
kills my 1/4mile time

I've been really impressed with them and I've only ran them about 5 or 6 times down the track now. They stick really well. I'm happy.

and i kno before u got them u spun like crazy with the power u r packing, so if u like them, i have to get me a set, thanks.
just have to do my research on what brand to get.

I run mine on an 8inch wide rim, and usually use about 16 Psig. My best 60 foot on drag radials so far is 1.8 with a short dry burnout.
