Honda did not make a CRX convertible. All the CRX convertibles out there are customs. Personally I think they're ugly. I also think that the amount of chassis support needed would make the car way too heavy to be fast, even with a swap.

Yes they never came from the factory like that. They were made on commision by Palm Conversions. Then they were sold at a higher price at the Honda dealerships.

Wow ummm, never seen anything like that before. I would never do it to a crx that I would own but yeah people have there kicks.

I found pics of the that vitesse kit a while back from somewhere (not the kit site cause I didn't even know what the kit was called) and couldn't remember where I found the pics Halleluiah! The convertible kit for the civic hb kinda makes the shape (with top on) look like an 'ol MR2, yuck! The coupe kit for the CRX is kinda slick Check it out ya'll CLICK HERE
