Default Owned by a neon!

So I was driving up to canton with my g/f in my CRX, I’m cruising up route 30 at about 65-70 in the left lane and this neon comes up behind me. He keeps behind me for about a quarter mile or so then he moves to the right lane to pass… Now, I’m not one to get passed by a neon, so I speed up and pull in front of him a little, so then he does the same… Humm.... I can’t stand for this can I? So I drop it into fourth and gun it (now I’m not one for street racing, but this neon was asking for it!), I fly past him at about 80. So the next thing I realize this neon goes FLYING by me!!! I was like “HOLY SH*T!” It was terrible! I couldn’t believe it, so I tried to catch up, I reached about 110 and damn, the CRX was driving smoother than it does at 80! (I love this car!) So after the OWNAGE, he’s about 1/8 a mile up on me, I’m guessing he was driving an upwards of 140-150! Later, he slows down and I get up behind him, and I see the SRT-4 emblem! Holy crap! I got owned by a neon, to bad I didn’t have my swap in and only a AEM CAI, putting down about 105Hp at the wheels @ 6000 RPM… My goal is to totally finish my mods and some how track this guy down and race him again.. And maybe win this time!! Of course, 245Hp stock will be hard to beat… What sort of experiences have you guys had with these new turbo neon?

an SRT-4 really isn't a neon. The SRT-4 is built on the neon chasis, but thats it. There is no such thing as a fast neon. If your talking SRT-4 I wouldn't mess with one at all! I love those SRT-4's, the intercooler is soooo fat.

The kills section is that way --->

My experience with them? They're ass ugly and the stock BOV is fairly loud for a production car.

it still looks like a neon and it's built on its chasis so it's still a neon, and yes it is still a gay car i don't care if it runs 10's i wouldn't be caught dead driving one

it runs 13.5's, i wouldn't drive one either, but for under 20k, damn! thats nothing to laugh at, this doesnt mean i respect neons, i just havnt seen honda put anything over 245.... not even the RSX type S... the S2000's close, but still cant beat it stock, what im wondering is how long the neon will last, ive got my money on no more than 50,000 miles

Well, gee, it doesn't take much thought to realize a turbocharged 2.4L will put out more then an N/A 2.2L.
