Default Hatch VS 350Z

late last night i finally finished what i took the day off for , well like 8 , but the n i drove around for like 200 miles to get break my new pistons in a bit. I installed USDM Teg type-r pistons in my b16 block , got em from inlinefour.com for 260 with rings shipped, i was gonna get the CTR pistons but the compression is way to high , the dome on the piston is like none other. Anyway i installed those put it back together. i drove up this mountain this is rougly 100 miles up and then down it 2 times , i had around 250 miles on the pistons when i saw a silver 350Z with a young , i mean young , 16-17 y/o kid driving it , im only 20 , but usually you see middle aged to older people drivin em cause r the only ones that can afford one. Anyway, i turned the bottle on with the switch you can buy so you can open the bottle with out getting out and doin it manually, i turned it on like 20 mins before we actually raced because i knew the first redlight he was gonna jump and i wanted to build up presure. I looked at the guage and it was at 8 summin PSI i cant remember , then we hit a light. First thing he does is let out a rev , i love the sound of those cars. I reved a lil back. I held around 4k , light goes green , i spin mad out of the hole , as did he , but when i caught traction i tagged second at 8k rpm and ripped him a new one. I was walking him , by 60 i had already had 3+ cars and still walkin greatly. around 90 mph , which came in no time i let off . At the light i found it was a auto , but i had literally had about 7 car lengths by 90 using a 75 shot , and 90mph wasnt even through with the 1/4. All in all its not to impressive since i used ZEX, i jus wanted to make sure this kid knew he could get smoked by a honda.

good kill next time try not using the nitrous it will make for a more excitable race and ti would depend on the driver's mostly. plus i would go more than that to break in new pistons :nono:

Now I'm confused. A couple of days ago you posted about losing to a stock SRT-4 whose best time was a 14.6. Now you put 7 cars on a 350Z by 90 mph?!?

Yeah, I read it again. Here's a little clue for you... when the other car is ahead at the end of the race, you didn't beat it.

to nathan. I was refering i beat him through the 1/4 by about 2 cars , ya top end he would of got me.
As to the BS comment , how is it bs , im a hatch thats weighs a lot less than hte automatic 350Z. My mods are
b16 swap
JDM 4-1 header
Aem cai
thermal exhaust
powercore cat
USMD Type-R Pistons
MSD ignition
STR pro comp fuel rail
ACT clutch
75 shot of ZEX
I dynoed 158 whp with out the pistons, with a 75 shot i should be around 233 whp, 233 whp in a hatch Vs a 270 hp coupe , a hatch weighin in at 2200 with me in and well over 3000 pounds for the auto 350Z. Ya by the end of second using a 75 shot i was 3 cars ahead at 8200 rpm switching to 3rd.The auto 350Z runs mid to high 14"s , i run low 14"s all day long with no shot , with a shot im in the low 13"s.
