Are there any dealerships offering below MSRP for the '04's right now? I'll consider buying one for MSRP if the dealer throws a free spoiler in for me.

ANyone in the NoVA area w/ reccommendations?

Ok so I went to the dealership yesterday...this is what they offered:

First this is what they said:

Market value is $33,900. Can we agree on this? (I say no)

Next:

I say MSRP plus a free trunk lip spoiler. They agree so it works out to this:

$32,000
+ tax/tags/title
+ destination
+ free spoiler

is this a good deal??? I think I'm still getting ripped here so I want someone's opinion - thanks guys!!

I am in the market as well and personally I would not offer above 31,000 + spoiler , tax, tags and title.

Whats a reasonable price for a '01-'03? I'm trying to sell my car, and get a S2000.

Kinda curious what would seem reasonable.

I've seen new 04's going for 30,995 on some dealer networks.

If you buy a used one I would recommend 02+ because of the changes/updates.

Hey s2k paradigm,

My name is Loc Truong and I am the Internet Sales Manager from Ourisman Honda in Bethesda. My dealership does not charge the ADM, the $289 processing fee, or the 3.17% Sales Tax. Our processing fee is only $100, Sales Tax is 3%, and we sell under MSRP. Give me a call at 703-623-1867 so that I could assist you in purchasing a new car.

Go on to KBB.com to get a trade in value and a private party retail. This is not 100% accurate, but it will give you an idea of what your car is valued at. Just to give you an idea, a dealership will give a 2001 with 18k miles for $18,500 as trade in. Retail would be in the low 20's roughly. Depending on the condition and miles.

Manufactures Suggested Retail Price, the price the car should fetch when shipped to the dealership. Of course some may try to add a "market demand" to the vehicle where they can, though this is somewhat unheard for this vehicle. Think of it as a starting point as 99% of most vehicles have wiggle room built into the price. If dealerships got MSRP on every vehicle I would quit my job to start selling cars. Hope this helps!
