Default i think i figured out whats wrong with my code 22

i think my oil pressure is low,and the vtec pressure switch is sensing that and making the ecu throw the code 22.
what do i do though to make the oil pressure right?

ya,but i just realized that's probaly not the problem, because if the oil pressure was dropping then the pins would probaly come out of the smaller rocker arms, thus deactivating vtec, and when the check engine light comes on vtec still stays engaged.i don't think i'll ever figure out whats wrong with my car.

i heard something about that if you use the rsx or new generation civic oil filters, that will boost your oil pressure. :dunno:

i might be wrong though, cause if the oil pressure was dropping wouldn't the pins come out of the middle rocker arms and disactivate vtec?
how much would it cost to replace my oil pump?labor and parts?

ok oil pump is 122,but does any one know how long it would take to replace it,and roughly what someone would charge to replace it(labor only)?
