Makes sense if they redo the Fit for the rest of the world that we get the new version too. Seems simple enough.
As for whether or not it's the new CRX, there have been rumors of a CRX comeback of its own, based on the new Civic: https://www.honda-acura.net/forums/s...d.php?t=198306

If the current Fit looks so modern and unique I can't wait to see what the new one looks like Hopefully they don't mess it up.

Can't wait for this one to come here to the US... I think it's the car I'm looking for as my commuting car. I don't need a lot of power, just something relyable, fuel efficiant that looks decent and will fit four in a pinch. I just hope when it comes here it will be a 5door hatch and not too overloaded with extras.
(I have no intrest in the civic either since it does not come as a hatchback and the insurance rates are insane)

from the honda site
What do you make of this, just a sketch of the current car, or not? Looks like a two door?

taken at a private convention for Honda automobile dealers back in September 2005 is likely the configuration of the US-market Honda Fit. (Note the longer bumpers to meet the NHTSA 2.5-mph bumper requirement, the turn signal lights integrated into the headlight housing, and the lack of the turn signal light on the front side fenders.) The engine choice, of course, is still unknown, though my hope is for a variant of the 1.3-liter SOHC i-VTEC engine used as part of the IMA drivetrain on the 2006 Civic Hybrid sedan.
