Default DIY VTEC light.

i made one of these about 8 months ago, and it still works fine.
custom vtec light.
1 12v lightbulb, your choice of color, tho, white or blue is best.(2.99 at autozone)
20 feet of 18 to 20 gauge wire.
Clear folders from walmart, comes in a 5-6 pack for like $3.00, comes with white, blue, purple, red, yellow and green, they are SEE THRU FOLDERS, thats important u buy the right ones.
A printer, and some basic car knowledge.
.....
.....
Start by taking the entire gauge bezel out.
Drop the lightbulb into of the slots NOT being used by another light.
(Brake, check engine etc.)
Attach a wire to one side of the light and run that wire to the NEGATIVE, you can choose to run that wire to any ground, but i ran mine back to my battery, just because.
Attach another wire to the other end of the light bulb.

time for a terrible drawing.
--- drop light in from FRONT of cluster

ok for the non electricity inclined, the "neg" is the ground, attach that to any metal thats grounded to the body.or the (-) on the battery.
Pos wire, plug that into your VTEC solenoid.
go for a ride, BEFORE you put ur guage back in, and make sure u wired it right, so it will work..
if it works, go inside, and print "vtec" or VTEC in the smallest font u have,
on your choice of the colored folders, cut it out, DONT TOUCH the ink, it will smear, put a piece of clear tape over it, so it stays in place.
then tape it into your guage cluster, carefully and cleanly.
ill include a pic of the finished product, ill get a pic of the light on too..(later)
hope this helped someone.
look at the bottom right indicator light.
