Default Quote to replace timing belt

$472 on my '97 SE. That includes replacement of the water pump. Good, bad?

i'd have to say that's about right. the timing belt is a complete pain in the ass to change.

I hope they are going to change the seals and throw a tune-up in there. so $472 consists of all the belts and the water pump?

Yup. It's a reputible shop.

just only hope one thing, they used original honda parts which they dont if is a shop , thats why i bought it myself for under $200 complete kit including seals and the labor was $300 so i guess the number sound good as long is original stuff not $80 timing belt kit lol

not sure how old this thread is (just did a timing belt search) but i was quoted 375 for my 2000 accord.

I looked at that link below....that whistler thing is funny as heck...... Its more annoying than a coffee can muffler

well, the thread is about 10 months old. I'm pretty sure he already changed them by now lol.

yeah. It's been done for awhile now. It's good peace of mind. And I'm willing to pay the extra money to a good shop.
